Pure chaos, precision and joy
Genres: Post-punk / Noise rock / Art-pop
GRÓA has become one of the most exciting and unpredictable bands emerging from Iceland’s thriving experimental music scene. Blending post-punk, noise rock, art-pop and sheer chaotic energy, the trio/quartet creates music that feels both wildly untamed and remarkably precise.
Their songs move between distortion, playfulness, melody and total release — constantly shifting shape while holding onto an infectious sense of momentum and joy. There is something gloriously fearless about GRÓA: a band fully committed to instinct, energy and emotional impact.
Live, that spirit becomes even more powerful. Their concerts are explosive, physical and deeply alive, pulling audiences into a shared world of noise, movement and exhilaration. Frenetic one moment, tightly controlled the next, GRÓA balances experimentation with an undeniable sense of fun.
Following their acclaimed album Drop P, the band arrives at Tromsø World 2026 with a brand new live set ready to hit with full force.
A concert for anyone who likes their rock music loud, fearless and slightly out of control.
