Walk-and-Talk Discussions: Boston Freedom Trail
About the event
Fall is here! Let's celebrate our community by having fun, lively conversations in a walk-and-talk style format along the Boston Freedom Trail, starting from the Commons and turning around once we hit North End. Please expect to walk around \~3 miles total if you stay for the whole time.
While there is typically a central topic or theme, this event is meant to be open-ended. Thus, come with open minds, warm jackets and comfortable tennis shoes, and some questions that you've been thinking about to chat amongst other attendees!
We will meet at the Boston Common Visitor Information Center at 139 Tremont Street, which is the official starting point of the Freedom Trail. We will wait there for about 10-15 minutes to let attendees gather and find us.
Because we are starting in the late morning, we can make a midway stop for lunch (possibly around Quincy Market) for any hungry participants.
People are welcome to come and go as they please. You are not obligated to order anything or to finish the entire trail with us! We're just happy you can join!
We will walk at a relaxed pace -- if you are into speedwalking, you're welcome to speed ahead with other folks, but there are no guarantees that the rest of the group will catch up with you;).
If the RSVP list is full, we ask that you respect those sign-ups as large walking groups can be hard to keep track of. If you find that you cannot make it, please make room for someone else on the waitlist to attend.
