In-Person Writing Group at BedStuy's Bedford Library!
About the event
\*\*NOTE: This week we were unable to reserve the small meeting room, so we'll be at the common area tables to the right when you walk in the library. Might have a bit more ambient noise, so bring headphones if you'd like! **Join us in the Brooklyn Public Library's Bedford Branch every other Thursday for an hour of uninterrupted writing!** Please bring a computer or old-fashioned notebook and pen/pencil to work on your choice of personal project. Need some inspiration? We'll offer prompts to get you started on something new. From 6-6:15 pm we'll do introductions and discuss what each of us hopes to accomplish. Then we'll have an hour of heads-down writing time, wrapping up with optional sharing and further discussion 7:15-7:30 pm. The Bedford Library (496 Franklin Ave) is just a short walk from the C & S trains' Franklin stop. If needed, you can enter from the ground floor on the right side of the building; there's an elevator just inside the entrance. **We'll be in the upstairs meeting room**, to the right on the second floor. Feel free to take the elevator or the staircase just behind the librarians' desk. It gets quite cold with the AC blasting, so bring a sweater!
