Shibari Rope Class to Jam | Leg Lacing Partial Suspension | Beginner Friendly

Please join us for an evening of exploration as we discover some of the ways to create a lacing harness on the legs, for bondage, sensation or to allow for partial suspension. In this class-to-jam, we will explore lacing ties that rely on tension, counter-tension and frictions to create beautiful restraint on the upper or lower legs. We will discuss the principles, point out safety considerations and look at how to raise the legs with an up-line attached to the harness to create a partial suspension, while keeping most of the bodyweight on the floor. This is a wonderful technique to explore the feeling of rope on the body, as well as having parts of the body raised, adding a third dimension to the experience. This jam is beginner friendly, although some knowledge of single column ties will be useful. Experienced practitioners are warmly invited to come hang out, practice and share some skills.
