----- Workshop Description ------
This workshop offers an introduction to humour in improv, designed for players with limited experience, allowing us to explore where laughs actually come from in improv comedy. We will focus on things about how "mistakes" can be turned into a hilarious scene, playing it straight can bring more laughs than silliness, amplifying jokes the comedic way, and finally what is the game in specific short improv games.

----- What is Improv Lab ------ At FIG, everyone is encouraged to explore new ideas and concepts — that’s exactly what the Improv Lab is for! It’s a fun, exploratory space led by a rotating lineup of facilitators from our community. Regardless of experience level, each instructor brings their unique style and perspective to the session. Participants are invited to try out brand-new exercises, work-in-progress formats, and more. It’s a supportive environment where we help each other grow — both as improvisers and as instructors.
