In Hong Kong’s East Forest Park, a scavenger named Lan Peiqing (Josie Ho) discovers a hanging corpse while collecting trash, awakening a terrifying memory from thirteen years earlier. Once a spirit medium, she had manipulated a young girl into suicide for money—an act that left her haunted by guilt and plagued by visions of restless souls.
Seeking redemption, Lan now collects strange objects believed to hold the lingering spirits of those who died unnatural deaths, helping them find peace.
When police officer Huang Ming begins investigating a series of suspicious “accidents,” he repeatedly encounters Lan at the scenes—sometimes even before they occur. Through her connection with the dead, Lan reveals a chilling truth: the accidents are actually carefully staged murders.
As science clashes with the supernatural, Lan and Huang must confront a powerful force hidden in the darkness—before they become the killer’s next victims.
