Lighthouse Cruise

Biscayne Bay’s historic lighthouses and coastal landmarks are the focus of a guided boat cruise departing from Deering Estate. Lighthouse Cruise takes place on select Saturdays through November 28, taking passengers aboard a 45-foot Corinthian catamaran for a four-hour tour led by a Biscayne National Park ranger. The route highlights Cape Florida, Fowey Rocks and Boca Chita lighthouses, along with the history of the waters and communities surrounding them.
After leaving Deering Estate, the tour travels through Biscayne Bay and past Stiltsville before continuing to Boca Chita Key. Guests may have the opportunity to see Boca Chita Lighthouse up close and, conditions permitting, climb to the top for a panoramic view of the bay. Wildlife sightings may include dolphins, sea turtles and shorebirds.
The vessel is ADA accessible and complies with Coast Guard regulations. Advance reservations are required through the Biscayne National Park Institute, and guests should arrive at Deering Estate at least 30 minutes before check-in. Tickets are $90 plus tax and processing fees and include same-day general admission to Deering Estate during regular hours.
