ADHD, Intimacy & Sexuality: A facilitated exchange space for FLINTA* people
About the event
This meetup creates a facilitated space for FLINTA* (Female, Lesbians, Intersex, Non-binary, Trans and Agender) people with ADHD to explore these experiences together.

ADHD doesn't stop at the bedroom door. It can shape how we experience desire, intimacy, connection, stimulation, boundaries and our own bodies. Sometimes in challenging or confusing ways, sometimes in ways that feel intense, exciting or deeply enriching. And yet, there are surprisingly few spaces where we can talk openly about the intersection of ADHD and sexuality without judgement, expectations or assumptions about what intimacy and sexuality are supposed to look like.
What to expect
• A small, moderated exchange space where different experiences and perspectives are welcome. • Through short inputs, guided reflection and conversation, we'll explore how ADHD can show up in sexuality and physical intimacy and exchange experiences, questions and perspectives with each other. • This is primarily a space for conversation and exchange, rather than a workshop or lecture. You don't need to have answers, and you decide at all times what and how much you want to share. Listening is participation, too.
The setting
• The group is intentionally kept small, with a maximum of 10 participants. • You don't need an official ADHD diagnosis to join. Self-identification is welcome. • This is a facilitated exchange, not therapy or a therapeutic group. • The meetup is open to FLINTA* people. We welcome different identities, bodies, sexualities, relationship experiences and ways of experiencing intimacy.
Facilitation The exchange will be facilitated by Julia (she/her) and Naomi (they/them).
Julia (she/her) is a psychological counsellor specialising in sexuality and relationships, with a particular interest in the intersections of ADHD, sexuality and relationships. She facilitates exchange spaces around these topics and works with individuals and groups. Find out more about Julia and her work here: *[https://www.mindingpleasure.de/](https://www.mindingpleasure.de/)*
Naomi (they/them) is the co-facilitator. They bring a trans/genderqueer and fat-positive perspective and want to make this a space where indeed everyBODY feels welcome. (Including but not limited to fat individuals, passing trans men, AMAB enbies/genderqueer people and trans women!) They are passionate about creating spaces where people come together to find healing, beauty and peace in community and in themselves.
Together, we aim to create a space where different experiences and perspectives can be shared, explored and listened to without assumptions about what sexuality, intimacy or relationships should look like.
Event Fee The event is free to attend, but we kindly ask you to consider making a donation. We need to cover some fee for the venue that accommodates us, as well as offer an appreciation gift to our facilitator, who will be guiding us for 3.5 hours.
About the organisers All organisers are neurodivergent volunteers. Please be considerate and patient with us and each other as we co-create a respectful and welcoming event.
RSVP Spaces are limited, so please only RSVP if you genuinely plan to attend. If you can no longer make it, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so that someone on the waiting list can take your spot. If you're on the waiting list, check back closer to the event as spaces may become available. Repeated no-shows may result in removal from future events.
