Narrative Game Jam @ Hugo House

[Seattle Indies](https://seattleindies.org/) is partnering with Hugo House to run a narrative game jam from **Aug 15th to Aug 16th.** The Lapis Theater will be open for participants from 11:00 AM-7:00 PM. Participants will work in groups (or solo) to complete an entire narrative game in the time allotted. Food and drinks will be provided, and the Hugo House has cleared out a space for everyone to work side by side. Whether you’re a game dev veteran or looking to try out making a game for the first time, all skill levels are welcome. There will also be a secret theme revealed at the start of the jam! **What is a Game Jam?** A game jam is an event hosted by Seattle Indies where video game developers, artists, and musicians race against time to build a playable game from scratch. This is typically during a specific timeframe, and can last from 48 hours to a few weeks. However, Game Jam participants must incorporate a secret theme or set of constraints. On Aug 15th to Aug 16th, come see video game devs work in our Lapis Theater to create a video game based off of a "secret theme" announced on Aug 15th at 11:00 AM! Return on **August 22, 6:30-8:30 PM** for a Game Showcase & Awards Ceremony in the Lapis Theater, where participants will be able to present their games. Questions?
