Discuss & Social 🍷 Dating red flags or false alarms? Insecurity & self-sabotage
About the event
Make new friends and chat about everything from daily life to big world issues in our no-judgment space. This week's topic: Does a date feel too good to be true? More and more people over-analyze texts, hunt for red flags and demand constant reassurance. While many argue that reality checks and boundaries are important, experts say that insecurities create a self-fulfilling prophecy cycle and actively sabotage chemistry. If human connections are fundamentally shaped by vibes and energy, shouldn't a positive, confident mindset be able to overcome any friction? Are early dating issues a sign of incompatibility, or does insecurity turn normal bonding into a self-inflicted disaster? We'll discuss...
1. Does looking for red flags and warning signs in dating protect people or drive them to self-sabotage? 2. Are dating failures caused by actual incompatibility, or do insecurities actively manufacture the bad results we fear? 3. Can shared optimism rather than anxiety create better relationships?
