Breathe: An Introduction to Breathwork
About the event
Join us for a gentle and restorative breathwork experience designed to help you slow down, reconnect with your body, and create space for calm.Breathwork is the intentional regulation of the breath. Through slow, deep and conscious breathing, we can support the nervous system, stimulate the vagus nerve and encourage the body to move out of a fight-or-flight state and into a more relaxed, regulated state.During this session, you will be introduced to the foundations of breathwork and explore how conscious breathing can support both physical and emotional wellbeing. The practice will focus on relaxation, nervous system regulation and activating the parasympathetic nervous system, often described as the body's "rest and restore" state.
