David van Rosmalen - Als ik jou was (première)

David van Rosmalen takes you on a philosophical journey of discovery in his cabaret debut 'Als ik jou was' at De Kleine Komedie Amsterdam. With humour, self-reflection and a mix of jokes, spoken word and piano songs, he explores how people think, choose and doubt. Cabaret debut from a promising new talent

David van Rosmalen studied psychology and philosophy and worked for years as a behavioural consultant. He translates that background into the theatre in his debut performance Als ik jou was. He looks back on the choices he has made and examines how those choices have shaped him. He does this with a mix of jokes, spoken word, piano songs and Dutch hip hop.

Humour and self-reflection on how people think and doubt

In Als ik jou was, David van Rosmalen asks questions you might recognise: why do you choose what you choose, and what does that say about who you are? He combines analytical sharpness with humour and meaningful nonsense. The performance invites you to look at your own life a little differently, without it becoming heavy.

To be seen at De Kleine Komedie in Amsterdam

The performance can be seen at De Kleine Komedie, one of the most famous cabaret venues in the Netherlands, located in the heart of Amsterdam. Are you interested in tickets? You can find more information about availability via the link on this page.
