Yiddish concert in Central Park - National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene
About the event
I don't speak Yiddish, but there has been a massive resurgence of Yiddish music among younger people as of late. Riki Rose, a Yiddish singer is having a lot to do with it (check her out on Instagram), along with Daniella Rabbani. And of course the Shvesters. They will all be performing at Summerstage (rescheduled from a rain date earlier this summer) this September 17th.
If interested in joining, please let me know before September 15th. Prior to the concert, would be great to meet for drinks/apps at a nearby restaurant.
• Doors Open: 6:00 PM • Concert Time: 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM • Location: Rumsey Playfield, [Central Park SummerStage](https://cityparksfoundation.org/events/new-york-sings-yiddish-26/) (near 72nd St and 5th Ave) • Admission: Free, open to all ages (first-come, first-served)
