Set in the late 1980s, the film follows reclusive gym manager Lou, who falls hard for Jackie, an ambitious bodybuilder passing through town on her way to Las Vegas. Their intense romance soon gets tangled up with Lou’s criminal family — and things get messy. Very messy.
Expect queer desire, revenge, dark humour, bodybuilding, questionable decisions and a lot of blood. 🩸
