Landscape in Sepia

A screening of 'Pejzaż w kolorze sepii' (English title: 'Landscape in Sepia'), a Japanese-Polish drama directed by Kei Ishikawa. Based on the novel by Nobel laureate Kazuo Ishiguro, the film premiered in the official selection of the Cannes festival. It follows Niki, a writer visiting her mother Etsuko in the English countryside, uncovering family secrets and the painful memories of post-war Nagasaki. The film features cinematography by Piotr Niemyjski and music by Paweł Mykietyn.
