Get a Grip, ceramics and pottery course
About the event
Step into the world of clay and bring your ideas to life using the three foundational hand-building techniques: pinching, slab building and coiling. Whether you're a complete beginner or someone looking to deepen their practice, this course is designed to meet you right where you are – with no experience necessary. 6 weekly sessions of tactile, meditative, skill-building clay play, from 4 November - 9 December, 6-8PM facilitated by ceramic artist Ellen Bagge. You’ll have the freedom to follow your own creative path and make something that truly speaks to you. Whether it is making a collection of table ware, a one of a kind sculpture, or trying a bunch of new techniques. This course is all about play, process, and personal projects. There’s no pressure to make “perfect” pottery – just the joy of creating something with your own two hands. Max 6 students = loads of one-on-one guidance All materials, tools + unlimited making & firing included Held in heritage building of Kil.n.it Experimental Ceramics Studio tucked behind Glebe Library. Free parking available on site. Entry through Wigram Lane off Wigram Road.
