Free in-person course: "Cultural Production Today – Project, Programming and Curation"

The course also covers different artistic languages and encourages reflection on recent and rapid changes in the cultural sector. This training has been held in over 20 editions, in various formats. When: August 3–13, 2026. Days: Monday to Friday, 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM. Location: Unidade Brás. Goals: The discipline aims to present and discuss, from different perspectives, the meanings of cultural production in contemporary times, focusing on network building and the mobilization of creative resources. Instructor: Fabio Maleronka. Fabio Maleronka is a UNESCO consultant, holds a PhD in Sociology of Culture from USP, and is a professor in Contemporary Cultural Production, Programming and Curation. He was Programming Director for the São Paulo Municipal Culture Department (2013–2016), curator of the Virada Cultural in 2014 and 2015, and responsible for implementing the São Paulo Municipal Culture Circuit. He coordinated the series Cultural Production in Brazil (2010) and served as a consultant for the Center for Management and Strategic Studies during Gilberto Gil's administration.
