Fall Equinox Candlelit Sound Bath at Sunset (with Candle Gifting)

This is time to pause, exhale, and be poured into while setting the tone for your fall season. Watch the sunset as we move through a light, yoga-inspired stretch before sinking into an immersive sound journey using bowls, chimes, gongs and other percussion instruments. Hosted by Destiny of The Mama Green

Destiny is a 420-hour certified yoga instructor and sound bath guide, with 9 years of yoga practice and 2.5 years of experience teaching and hosting. She's also the host of the sold-out candlelit series The Pause, a candlelit, gentle yoga and soundbath experience featuring live music from harp and saxophone. By day she's a marketer in tech; by night, she's guiding experiences like this one. Timing – Doors open at 7:00 PM (No entry after 7:30 PM). Stretch and sound bath begin at 7:30 PM. We'll wrap our time together at 8:45 PM. The Location – We'll meet at Yoga Sole, a Black woman-owned yoga studio in Sunset Park. Large windows let us take in the sunset throughout the session. Candle Gifting – Each guest will receive a luxe candle by BLAK MAVD, a Black woman-owned, Brooklyn-based luxury scent brand, to take home. Yoga Mat & Props – A limited number of mats are available to rent for $2. That said, arrive early or we highly suggest bringing your own yoga mat. Props are available for free on a first-come, first-served basis. Complimentary Tea – Sip on caffeine-free herbal tea blends from Magic Hour throughout the evening.
