About the event

Exceptional mix of body horror and psychodrama focusing on social codes among a group of boys. 12-year-old Ben is dragged into a cruel game in which one boy is picked out to be excluded as an ‘outcast’. Feature debut by young American filmmaker Charlie Polinger. The Plague follows a group of 12-year-olds at summer camp. Insecure Ben tries to fit in with the social hierarchy within the group of boys. He befriends Eli, a lone outsider who the others have decided is the carrier of a fictitious sickness they call ‘the plague’.
