Join Grace and Gait Walk Club!
Join our BRAND NEW group of like-minded believers in Christ as we experience worship through the lens of movement.
What to Expect
We gather 1–2 times monthly for walks featuring an anchor scripture for meditation, followed by prayer before we begin. Each walk takes approximately 1 hour (30 minutes out, 30 minutes back). All paces welcome—work up as much or as little of a sweat as you'd like!
Why We Walk
Our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and honoring God through physical care is a biblical calling (1Corinthians 6:19-20). Grace and Gait creates space for prayer, fellowship, and stewardship of the bodies God has given us.

Walks are subject to cancellation or rescheduling based on weather.

What to Bring
• Comfortable clothes and shoes are essential. Consider bringing:
• Water
• Headphones
• Portable fan
• Snack
• Medication as needed
• Fitness tracker
• Cellphone
Getting there:
• Set your GPS to 5500 S DuSable Lake Shore Dr.
• Park in the paid lot or look for a free space along the street
• Walk toward DuSable Lake Shore Drive
• Look for the 55th Street pedestrian underpass (a paved concrete tunnel that goes under the highway)
• Walk completely through the tunnel to the other side
• Look for Grace and Gait signage
