This winter, join us for the launch of our new monthly series, *Wine Wednesdays \| Discover Portuguese Wine*.

This month we're visiting By The Wine, an elegant wine bar by José Maria da Fonseca, one of Portugal's oldest and most respected wine producers. With an extensive selection of Portuguese wines from across the country, it's the perfect place to explore different regions, grape varieties and wine styles—whether you're completely new to Portuguese wine or already have a favourite.

One of the things that makes By The Wine ideal for our group is its excellent range of wines available by the glass, making it easy to sample and compare different wines throughout the evening. If you prefer, bottles are also available to share with others at the table.

Alongside the wine, By The Wine serves a delicious menu of Portuguese cheeses, charcuterie, petiscos and larger dishes, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed evening of good food, great wine and even better conversation.

Whether you're joining us for your first event or you're already a regular, you'll be made very welcome.

🍽️ Our format

Wine Wednesdays are designed as a relaxed evening of wine, food and conversation. To support the fantastic venues that host us, we kindly ask everyone to order at least one food item from the menu, along with any drinks they'd like to enjoy.

🍷 Limited Places

To keep the evening relaxed and conversational, Wine Wednesdays are limited to just 8 guests.

To confirm your place and secure our reservation, a €10 booking credit is required when you RSVP. This isn't an additional charge—the full €10 (minus PayPal Fees) will be deducted from your food and drinks bill on the evening.

If your plans change, please cancel at least 48 hours before the event and your booking credit will be fully refunded. Cancellations within 48 hours, or no-shows, are non-refundable unless your place can be filled from the waiting list.

As always, everyone pays for their own food and drinks.
