Is this your event?About the event
As the cold comes and the sun softens this fall and winter, our bodies are made more vulnerable many kinds of sick—so let's look to old remedies to soothe us by making Fire Cider.
Fire Cider is a modern renaming of old kitchen traditions that work to fuel the fire of our immune systems. We'll combine vinegar, herbs, roots and honey and make an elixir that brings warmth and protection to your body. After the event, you'll take home your cider and a recipe you can use again and again when you need a little boost! RSVP REQUIRED. If you sign up but later decide you can't make it, please let us know before the workshop so we know how much material to get. This workshop will be masked, with windows open (weather permitting) and air filters on (always). Joyfully hosted in collaboration with Astoria School of Plant Wisdom (https://www.instagram.com/dirtmagic_medicinals).
