In a world decimated by a deadly flu pandemic, Hig, a pilot, has hope for a better future. He befriends ex-marine Bangley, whose faith in humanity has been extinguished by what he has witnessed. Along with Cima and a small band of survivors, they go in search of a new, better life. Ridley Scott’s dystopian sci-fi, adapted from Peter Heller’s bestseller by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant), once again finds the director working on an epic scale that fits perfectly on the UK’s largest screen.
