About the Event
Organised by a team of Temasek Junior College students, this programme aims to foster meaningful connections among seniors while celebrating the dedication of their caregivers and loved ones.
• Seniors will come together to make traditional snacks, while their loved ones will design their own Tingkat.
The event will then conclude with a special surprise exchange, before each senior-family member pair shares the treats they have made and brings the rest home in their uniquely decorated Tingkat. This meaningful experience centred on connection, appreciation and togetherness, creates a heartwarming space where seniors can connect with one another, caregivers and/or family members feel recognised, and senior-family member pair can strengthen the bonds they share.
This programme aims to foster social and emotional well-being, as well as strengthening family bonds. This programme is jointly brought to you by the Tampines Library, Temasek Junior College, and Tampines Central Community Club.
Please note that each ticket admits 2 attendees: 1 senior and 1 family member/caregiver. This programme is suitable for seniors.
Registration and Attendance
• Registration is required for this programme. Please register one ticket per person.
• Attendance will be taken using the NLB Mobile app. Please download the app ( https://go.gov.sg/nlbmobile-attendance ) or update it to the latest version. Then, scan the QR code at the venue to take your attendance upon entry.
• Please arrive 10 minutes before the session starts. Seats may be released to walk-in participants if you arrive late.
