Sehnsucht in Sangerhausen

Four stories about four characters adrift in a German city; the protagonists are Ursula and Neda – an East German waitress with a broken heart, and an Iranian YouTuber with a broken arm. A romantic adventure film that delivers social criticism as it explores friendship and the desire for a different life. Ursula is suffering from a broken heart, and struggling to make ends meet with two poorly paid jobs; Neda, an Iranian YouTuber, is also dealing with something broken: her arm, which is in plaster. Both women feel trapped and lonely in their precarious lives.
