For those joining one of our events for the first time, I’m Alfie, organiser of International Friends Lisbon and Portugal Social Events. I organise our regular community events in Lisbon.

And this Saturday is a little more personal because 3 October is my birthday! 🎂❤️

So I’d love you to join me and the community for a special Birthday Bash, with dancing, cake & champagne, our Sing-Along & Karaoke Party, and DJ until late.

Come alone or bring friends. Many people attend on their own, and everyone is welcome.

⏰ THE EVENING

👋 7:30 PM – Meet & Greet

💃 7:50 PM – Urban Grooves Dance Party

We’ll be mixing:

Reggaeton • Afrrobeats • Salsa • Bachata • Cha Cha • Hip-Hop • Samba • Country • Bollywood

🎂 9:20 PM – Birthday Celebration

We’ll take around 15–20 minutes to celebrate together with birthday cake & champagne. 🥂

🎤 Afterwards – Sing-Along & Karaoke Party

🎧 11:30 PM onwards – DJ & Dancing

⭐ PLEASE ARRIVE EARLY. I’d really love everyone to enjoy the whole evening together rather than just arriving later for the party.

💃 URBAN GROOVES DANCE PARTY

The first part of the evening will be a fun mix of different dance styles rather than focusing on just one.

Experienced dancers, regular social dancers and beginners are all welcome.

You don’t need a partner, and you don’t have to dance either. You’re very welcome to come, watch, have a drink, meet people and enjoy the atmosphere.

🎤 SING-ALONG & KARAOKE PARTY

After the birthday celebration, we move into our Sing-Along & Karaoke Party, one of my favourite parts of our Saturday events.

Request your favourite songs, take the microphone, sing together with everyone, dance along or simply enjoy the atmosphere.

You definitely don’t need to be a good singer. It’s about having fun together. 🎶❤️
