Morning Walk at Musqueam Park, Shortlands Pt. 2 – 2 to 9km, Flat, Shaded Routes
About the event
Fairly large forested park right near the famous Shortlands riverside trails. These walks are designed so you can easily leave after you’ve walked enough for yourself. Depending on your confidence about transit and sense of direction - we point you in the right direction back to a big bus loop and if you’re not, we can call you an Uber to get you there, it’ll be a short ride and we split the cost. This park is remarkably scenic and easy walking, wide gravel trails. It’s at 10am so it’s quite cool. The area is also very sparsely used as it’s tucked between First Nations reserves and golf courses. * This is one of three nature walks in this location. The others are Sunday August 30 at 2pm or Friday July 31 at 5.30pm. Please meet at Bread Culture Artisan Bakery and Cafe at 5525 Dunbar. That’s Dunbar and East 39th Avenue. It’s easy to get to by bus and there should be free street parking in the vicinity. 604-316-3007
