No food or drink (apart from water) is allowed in the hall(there is coffee for sale at the Woolworths building which can be enjoyed before, in the interval and afterwards) Doors open at 10am. The rehearsal starts promptly at 11.am If you arrive once the rehearsal has started you will only be allowed entry at a suitable moment in the music, at the discretion of management and ONLY to sit at the back close to the entrance. As it is a rehearsal it is at the conductor's discretion as to the order of the music which is often only decided on the day. You are requested to treat the rehearsal in the same way as you would a concert - no talking or moving around once the rehearsal has started. When the orchestra finishes the programme this does not mean that their rehearsal is over - PLEASE STAY SEATED UNTIL INTERVAL. It is extremely distracting for the orchestra when people move around while they are playing. Please be considerate to the musicians. If you forget your ticket, do not worry - we have a list of all those who booked and can check it at the door.
