Super-Sonic Jazz Festival
About the event
From Friday, November 20 to Sunday, November 22, the 10th edition of the Super-Sonic Jazz Festival will take place at Paradiso. Since the first edition in 2017, the festival has grown into a leading platform for artists operating at the intersection of jazz, R&B, soul, hip-hop, and more. Featuring performances by Amy Gadiaga, Diana Dzabbar, dreamcastmoe, Jembaa Groove, Samba Roots x Lucas Santana, Theo Croker, and Yazmin Lacey, among others. Innovative artists
The festival takes center stage at innovative artists operating within the broad universe of jazz. Big names such as Thundercat, Kokoroko, Robert Glasper, Steve Lacy, Yussef Dayes, and Hiatus Kaiyote have graced the bill since then, most of them before their international breakthrough.
Activities
In addition to the annual festival, Super-Sonic Jazz organizes various activities throughout the year: from intimate concerts in collaboration with Paradiso to the monthly Super-Sonic Jams at Skatecafe. Music is also released through the independent Super-Sonic label. Enthusiasts can join Super-Sonic Support. With your contribution, you directly support local talent and help the next generation of artists on their way.
