VM Radio and SYNESTHESIA take over Generator Amsterdam with two spaces: upstairs, a selection of international artists from the melodic electronic scene plays in a Boiler Room setup, while downstairs, VM Radio and SYNESTHESIA residents spin in an intimate basement. VM Radio and SYNESTHESIA transform Generator Amsterdam into a full evening music program with two separate spaces. Upstairs, in the Auditorium, international artists from the melodic electronic scene perform in a Boiler Room setup: audience surrounding the stage, close to the music. Downstairs, the Oosterbar transforms into an intimate cellar where VM Radio and SYNESTHESIA residents fill the evening with in-depth sets.
Artists who dig deeper
Both collectives are known for selections that go beyond the usual tracklists. The previous edition was sold out and welcomed artists such as Argia, Hardt Antoine, and Ivory. For this edition, VM Radio and SYNESTHESIA are once again selecting artists who tell hypnotic stories through melodic grooves and deep electronic sounds.
Small setting, strong atmosphere
Generator Amsterdam accommodates a maximum of 400 visitors. This limited capacity makes the event deliberately intimate: no large crowd, but an audience close to the music.
