The Spirit of St. Louis

Lindbergh’s life on solid ground is fleshed out through brightly funny flashbacks, quietly humane interactions and tense challenges – his single-minded commitment unwavering. Wilder’s only venture into biopic capitalises on Stewart’s signature compassion and charisma, in a surprisingly hopeful ode to American ambition and human determination. Screen: NFT2.
