About the event

The Climate Classic Belgium is part of the international Cycling4Climate movement, a volunteer-driven initiative founded in Utrecht in 2019. Its goal is to build a global peloton for climate action. The first Climate Classic took place in 2020 in the Netherlands, tracing the future coastline under rising sea levels. Since then, the event has grown to thousands of participants across several European countries. The Belgian edition brings together a community of volunteers, professionals, and climate advocates who share a passion for cycling and environmental impact.
