Night Hike & Campfire
About the event
A guided nighttime walk through Deering Estate introduces visitors to the woods, wildlife and sounds of the natural areas after dark. Night Hike & Campfire takes place on select Wednesdays, with seasonal programs generally offered once a month from October through May. After the hike, participants gather around a campfire to close the evening outdoors.
The program is open to guests ages 4 and older. Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight and s’mores, and should wear comfortable clothing suited for an outdoor evening walk. Long sleeves and long pants are recommended.
Check-in is at the Main Gate, and guests should arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Tickets are $25 per person and available via Miami-Dade County Park Link, with a discount available for Deering Estate Foundation members.
