Come along to the Ron Williams Community Centre Open Day during History Week. Hear from Laila Ellmoos, City Historian, on the history of the Centre against the broader context of Redfern’s history. History Week is the annual, state-wide celebration of History organised by the History Council of New South Wales. In 2026, the theme is Keeping Stories. Whats on in the City for History Week The Ron Williams Community Centre began operating on 17 August 1966 and was officially opened on 3 November 1966. It is open Monday to Friday 9:30am to 3:30pm.
