Hear it to Believe it. Kahlt (Kahlil Visser), one of Cape Town’s most exciting and experimental independent music artists, is inviting YOU to join the Kahlt. On the 2 September 2026 I will be loosening my grip on my newest EP, allowing it to take flight through a sound experience curated for your ear pleasure. This frankensteined EP, ironically titled “MUSIC I WON’T EVER RELEASE”, is a collection of eclectic, visceral music and charmingly silly songs that have been sitting in the vault (or “vahlt”) since 2021. Newly shined and polished remasters await you, dear distant cousin. Genres for the night include: Electronica, A Capella, Sound Track, Ambient, Theatrical Vaudeville Comedy, Art Pop, New Age and more… Kahlt’s bizarre musical craftsmanship and abstract world building proves that their gifts and talents are completely uncontainable, cacophonous, monasterial, other-worldly and unavoidably human. I cannot wait to share these songs. I’ll even add an exclusive preview off my next album titled ‘ATOMICA’ - as a treat.
