I do not know of an area in North Van that packs so much Biodiversity in a small area. An exceptional Eco System.
It has two Old Growth Tree's. Its cool to go there when the spill way is open. Great mist at the bottom look out point. I usually have a certain route I enjoy. Depending on how I feel, I may change route and add some stairs and different entrances too the Park.
Weather: Good hike under canopy.
Terrain: Well groomed gravel paths.
Difficulty: Moderate, some steep hill's and stairs. Like the last short hike on BP this will be perfect for me. Enough strain, and activity to get me fatigued.
How to Find Me: 302 Rabbit lane at trail head I will wear a black BCIT ball cap.
Driving Directions: Meeting Spot 302 Rabbit Lane. Hwy 1 turn right on Taylor way exit. Head up to Round about, turn right on Steven's drive, right on rabbit lane to house address 302 Rabbit lane. Trail head.
