*BOSSA NOVA JAM SESH ON THE BEACH*
Friday 4 SEPTEMBER, 10:00am - 11:00am @ Platja de San Sebastià (right near the W)
Bring an instrument and/or your love of bossa nova. Because we're meeting directly on the beach for this one, we encourage you to get your coffee/mate before and pack it in. Brazilians/Brazil/Altinha lovers in Barcelona are specifically encouraged to join this one. <3 Bonus points if you bring a flute and/or an instrument that you picked up in Brazil that has a great story. Let's make this a proper jam sesh.
Jenna's cohost for this one is Brazilian, from Rio, and a musician (plays guitar).
We will gather on blankets on the beach within eyesight of Parc esportiu* at Platja de San Sebastià (right near the W).
What is Coffee Club Barcelona?
• We usually meet up with high-quality, high-vibe people, at a great Barcelona coffee spot. This time, the same awesome peple are meeting at the beach, bring your own coffee/mate and an instrument to go if you'd like to play (very much encouraged)
• Have an awesome chat, this time while listening to live music *OUR CONVERSATION STARTER FOR THIS EVENT IS
*"Give us your best 'jeitinho' story - how you got through something in a charmingly unique way."*
For Coffee Club in 2026 we're moving past examining words and terms and deeper into the human experience. This time we're going to celebrate the times when we creatively worked around an obstacle or challenge.
• Experience that happy, buoyant feeling that comes from an engaging, pleasant chat
• Continue on with the rest of your day
Disclaimers:
This meetup is free, but logically you must purchase your own coffee or beverage of your choice directly and - this time - bring it to the beach where we're meeting up. The primary language of this meetup will be English, the organizer Jenna also speaks Spanish for any questions or needs, and her cohost for this one speaks Brazilian Portuguese and is a musician. Note that while this meetup is in English, this is not an English language learning group - this is a way for incredible strangers (both locals and expat locals, we're about 50/50) to get together, chat, and connect about real topics. This special edition is also celebrating Jenna's favorite person who is from Brazil, so if you'd like to take a break and only speak Portuguese, you are encouraged to. Jenna will be actively hosting this space so don't be surprised if she pairs you up for a chat with a new stranger, or changes it up a bit to encourage connection. Note that Jenna is intentionally keeping this group free. Be sure to join our The Club Whatsapp group after attending one of our Coffee Clubs to be connected with all of our people in Barcelona - in a no-spam, no-sales, genuinely just cool people meeting up - kind of way. If you'd like to support and/or team up with Jenna, buy her a coffee, check out her work at [holajenna.com,](http://holajenna.com,/) or find her at the next coffee club and say the code word: kaleidoscope.
