Difficulty Level: 3.5 out of 5
Distance: 16 km (approximate)
Time: 5 hours (approximate)
Description: Ready for a new adventure? This brand-new hike combines the cultural treasures of the Ping Shan Heritage Trail with a scenic journey to the Gold Coast. Rated 3.5/5 (with 5 being the most challenging), the route reaches a highest point of approximately 320 metres and includes visits to ancestral halls, temples, pagodas, and traditional walled villages established by the Tang Clan, one of the Five Great Clans of the New Territories. Along the way, we'll learn about the history, culture, and traditions that have shaped Ping Shan for centuries before meandering through the countryside and descending to the waterfront at the Gold Coast. Perfect for hikers who enjoy history, culture, and a touch of exploration on a new route.
