Pianist Alice Sara Ott Plays Beethoven with Netherlands Philharmonic

Experience the magic of Beethoven with pianist Alice Sara Ott and the Netherlands Philharmonic. Enjoy a musical journey from Vienna to enchanting Rome! Alice Sara Ott with Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 4

Barefoot on the pedals, Alice Sara Ott conquered the world's stages with her breathtaking piano playing. And she has a special connection with Beethoven. With his Fourth Piano Concerto, she takes us to Vienna. For it was there that the great master himself, with this revolutionary solo concerto, astonished the ears of his audience but also stole their hearts. The middle section of this work sounds like a prayer, intimate and almost philosophical.

Roberto González-Monjas conducts Respighi

From Vienna, where the Piano Concerto was written, to Rome is but a small step. Respighi wrote symphonic poems about Rome in which he evokes images of fountains, pine trees, and celebrating crowds in the city through orchestral sound. Conductor Roberto González-Monjas acts as musical tour guide in his debut with the Netherlands Philharmonic. Experience the sunrise on the ancient Via Appia, enjoy the lush gardens of the Villa Borghese, and admire Rome's famous Trevi Fountain.
