About the Band: RockSteady
Rocksteady, a 5-piece rock, cover band that formed in 2013, is a unique, eclectic blend of musicians with an energy and synergy that has kept audiences rocking over 13 years! RockSteady has a diverse repertoire of rock, blues, funk, pop, reggae, country, and R&B and whilst they love performing their favourite tunes from the 70 till the 2000s, since 2018, Rocksteady has carved out a name in the world of tribute shows and was one of the first bands to start the tribute show trend in Cape Town. “The Women of Rock” was their first tribute, and this has led to three other shows that are now regularly performed throughout the Western Cape. RockSteady also conceptualised an interactive show, the first of its kind in the Cape, which incorporates a tribute show with a music quiz for smaller intimate venues holding no more that 125 people. The format has proven immensely popular due to the relationship it creates between the band and their audiences....Their shows often o er prizes for best dressed couples or tables which always adds to the festivities!
