Mozart en Tsjaikovski door het Fibonacci Quartet

Let yourself be carried away by the beautiful sounds of Mozart and the emotional depth of Tchaikovsky, performed by the leading Fibonacci Quartet. Mozart and Tchaikovsky

Along with Haydn and Beethoven, Mozart was the most important innovator of the string quartet genre. Mozart gave each instrument its own voice and brought balance, emotional intensity, and elegant perfection. This is immediately audible in String Quartet No. 21, the first of the three Prussian quartets. Tchaikovsky's third and final string quartet is of a completely different order: it is a melancholic cry from the heart, a deeply emotional tribute to his deceased friend and colleague, the violinist Ferdinand Laub. It is romanticism of the highest order, full of intense feelings, but above all bursting with painfully beautiful melodies.

Fibonacci Quartet

The founders of the Fibonacci Quartet, hailing from Belgium, the Czech Republic, Sweden, and Montenegro, met at the prestigious Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. As the only ensemble to ever win both the First Prize and the Audience Award at the Premio Paolo Borciani International String Quartet Competition in Italy (2024), the Fibonacci Quartet ranks among Europe's leading young string quartets. Performances at the Wiener Musikverein, Berliner Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Wigmore Hall London, Philharmonie de Paris, and the Edinburgh and Aldeburgh festivals underscore this. With their technical mastery, tight interplay, and emotional intensity, the young quartet is rapidly conquering the world.
