Just Walk #30

Just Walk Lisbon is a small walking group for women who want to build a consistent, healthy walking habit in a calm and supportive environment. The focus is on *gentle accountability* and *repetition* — joining regularly, as your schedule allows, to make walking a simple and sustainable part of your weekly routine.

This walk follows a calm riverside route starting with Passeio do Tejo and continuing along the Percurso Ribeirinho de Loures — a quiet, open stretch with wide views and fresh air. There are always people walking, jogging or cycling on the route, but never crowded.

Typical structure:

• Route: circular walk along the river, starting and ending at the same point, • Duration: about 80 minutes • Distance: about 6 km • Pace: brisk but comfortable (\~4.5km/h)

Meeting Point: Ceifeira Real Padaria and Pastelaria Passeio dos Mastros 5b, 1990-371 Lisboa near Rossio do Levante Bus Station (Expo Norte) Buses: 26B and 708 The walk starts and ends at this location.

Start and Finish: We will aim to start at 09:15, and be back by 10:30.

What to Bring:

• Comfortable walking shoes, • Apropriate clothes, sunscreen, depending on the weather, • Water, • Headphones (if you prefer to listen to a podcast/audiobook/music).

Other considerations:

• There is no cafeteria or toilet on the route, just at the meeting point • If you would like a toilet visit or to order a coffee to go before we start, please plan to arrive 5-10 minutes earlier.
