🤝 Speed Friending: An Evening of Social Curiosity
About the event
Are you curious about what goes on in other people's minds? Do you often wonder about the infinite worlds within the people around you? Are you interested in expanding your perspective by viewing through the lenses of others?
This event is built entirely around that curiosity. Bring one object or topic that matters to you — it's your entry point into someone else's world. You'll pair up with someone new and move through a set of questions designed to surface what actually shapes a person: what they'd rehearse before saying out loud, who they'd want across the table at dinner, what they're grateful for right now. Then you'll use what you brought as the anchor for the deepest exchange of the night, and try to hold your partner's world in your own words by the end. What to bring: one item or topic that matters to you. What to expect - Paired conversations in timed rounds, building from playful to personal, closing with each partner reflecting back what they understood of the other's world (without sharing their secrets) Come to look through someone else's lens for a bit.

Bring a book, a movie recommendation, or something connected to an interest you enjoy. A title or photo on your phone is fine. If you bring nothing, you can explain why as part of your story.
