
Gables Gallery Night
About the event
Art exhibitions, live music and cultural programming animate Downtown Coral Gables on the first Friday of each month during Gables Gallery Night. Running from October through December, the recurring evening program invites visitors to explore galleries, museums and other participating venues from 6 to 10 p.m., with each installment featuring a changing mix of exhibitions, artist programs and special activities.
Visitors can travel between participating locations using the Coral Gables trolley or Freebee on-demand service. Programming varies by venue each month.
October Gallery Night
The October 2 edition includes:

Leica Store Miami, 7–10 p.m. Photographer Lisa Leone presents an exhibition of early images documenting New York’s emerging hip-hop culture in the 1980s. Taken with Leica cameras while Leone was still a student, the photographs capture artists, dancers and graffiti writers before many became widely known.

H. Benitez Fine Art Gallery, 6–9 p.m. The gallery introduces its Holiday Edition Art Fans, featuring works by Humberto Benitez translated into limited gift-boxed fans.

The Americas Collection Harvest of Talents brings together artists from different generations and backgrounds, highlighting shared influences and contrasting creative approaches. Light refreshments and a raffle for a limited-edition print accompany the exhibition.

Coral Gables Museum The museum offers free gallery admission, music by DJ Kauze, a Halloween-themed children’s activity, a cash bar and a complimentary salsa class. Exhibitions on view include Capture Coral Gables, America Touched, America Seen, Life is a Carnival de Barranquilla, Rebuilding Motherland and Revisiting Arva Moore Park’s “Creating the Dream.” The evening also includes the Capture Coral Gables awards presentation from 6:30 to 7:15 p.m. and salsa instruction from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.
