Scottish Dance Class (Beginner) 2026-10-23
About the event
Welcome to Scottish dancing! This class has live music and is open to beginners. Please come solo, with a partner, or with as many friends as you can drag along. Any comfortable shoes/clothing are appropriate, though you may wear a kilt if you like.
Please arrive by 7:45 PM. Dancing begins at 8:00 PM. We meet at the Lutheran Church of the Holy Communion. Please enter through the office on Sansom St (ring the doorbell if late).
Please don't worry that you're too uncoordinated or whatever: we want you to have fun! It's just a dance.:)
Sliding scale DISCOUNT for youth and low-income attendees. All classes free for [RSCDS Delaware Valley branch](https://www.delvalscottishdance.org/) members. Speak to an organizer if this doesn't work for you; cost should never be prohibitive.
We occasionally have snacks and may go out for a bite/drinks after dancing (all are welcome).
Expect around 20–25 dancers at a class, even if not everyone remembers to RSVP. We look forward to meeting you!
