Day Retreat Rest & recharge - Yoga, movement, sound meditation and breathwork
Welcome to a day retreat with Anna Thu Schmidt and Susanne Rasmussen, to rest and recharge. Experience how breath, yoga, movement and sound can help release tensions, deepen bodymind awareness and strengthen balance and grounding.

Everyone is welcome and previous experience is not required. We will work both individually and in groups.

What to bring: Comfortable clothes to move in, extra warm clothes and blanket, eye mask if needed, water bottle, notebook and pen, your own lunch. You can bring your own yoga mat if you like, if not there are mats/bolsters/blocks/blankets available.
Bio: Anna Thu Schmidt is a dance artist and certified Yoga teacher. She completed her Hatha Yoga Teacher Training in Indonesia and has additional training in Yin Yoga, Flying Yoga, Accessible Yoga, Healing Dance (aquatic bodywork), and feeltone Sound Massage & Sound Therapy. Sound meditation is an indispensable part of her yoga practice. Her companion is the feeltone Monochord. Anna arranges retreats with Yoga, Movement and Sound in Germany and Norway. She also leads ImproDans Trondheim and Contemporary Dance for Adults, offers workshops in contact improvisation and WaterContact and started up PRAXIS Trondheim and Ecstatic Dance in Trondheim.
Susanne Rasmussen has a professional backgound in dance, she is a certified breathcoach and Yoga teacher in addition to more than 15 years of experience as a department manager in the public sector. Her approach to teaching is based in dance/release work, yoga and evidence-based breathing techniques. As a committed professional, she conveys knowledge based on her own experience with fatigue and chronic inflammation. Having combined high stress levels in a leadership role, coping with personal health issues, she has a good foundation for understanding stress-related health challenges. She offers a holistic approach by focusing on breath, movement and balancing the nervous system. She has previously worked as an educator/dancer/choreographer and was one of the developers of DansiT and PRODA in Trondheim.
