Collage Poetry Workshop with Elisa & Jin
About the event
About the Event
Explore the memories and stories held within the everyday spaces of Bishan through words, images and collage.
Inspired by local and Southeast Asian literature, participants will reflect on their own experiences of Bishan and respond to photographs of the neighbourhood taken by artists. Using images, words and text fragments, participants will create collages that capture their memories, connections and observations.
The finished artworks will come together as part of a multi-disciplinary community art installation presented during Singapore Art Week 2027. Together, these works will form a collective portrait of the neighbourhood and the memories that live within its everyday spaces.
No artmaking experience required. All art materials will be provided. Workshops will be held in English.
