Event Details:
Spend Sunday evening meeting new people at a relaxed outdoor picnic in Shiba Park, one of central Tokyo’s most recognizable green spaces.
With Tokyo Tower nearby, Shiba Park gives us an easy place to sit together, share snacks, and enjoy the transition from daylight into the evening. This is not a formal networking event or a structured activity — it’s simply a comfortable social gathering where conversations can develop naturally.
The picnic is open to expats, locals, internationals, travelers, students, remote workers, and anyone interested in making friends in Tokyo.
You can move between conversations, stay with one group, take a quiet break, or simply enjoy being around others. There is no pressure to be highly outgoing.
Most attendees come alone, including many people joining Tokyo Expat Social Club for the first time, so arriving without knowing anyone is completely normal.
