Members Craft Club: Joanne Lamb teaches weaving with nature
Oct21
Wednesday, October 21, 202611:00 – 13:00About the event
In this hands-on session you will explore weaving as a way of slowing down and noticing the natural world. Using simple off-loom techniques, you will work with natural yarns and foraged materials to create woven pieces that hold personal meaning. Through colour, texture and intuitive experimentation, you will shape small works that reflect your own relationship with nature. You will weave into Khadi paper using natural yarns, creating a delicate paper-based composition that frames and protects a foraged leaf or dried flower. By stitching and weaving around your chosen object, you will form a quiet, contemplative piece that honours its presence and the landscape it came from. Access: For House and Exhibition Members.
