Children’s Workshop: Storytelling and World Building with ambi
About the event
Join a specially designed workshop hosted by ambi verse and engage in creative storytelling where children turn their feelings and imagination into illustrated animated stories. Through play, drawing and storytelling, children explore emotions by choosing an animal or character to represent how they feel. They take part in a scavenger hunt around the Centre to collect story elements and build their own narratives using images, objects and ideas. Children bring their stories to life as short animated films featuring their characters. Together, they watch the animations and share their stories with a pen pal in another part of the world! Through creative making, collaboration, and storytelling, children discover new ways to express themselves and explore ideas of curiosity, struggle, hope and joy. This hands-on workshop encourages creativity and collaboration while teaching children to explore their feelings safely and comfortably. This workshop is free to attend and is suitable for children aged 4-12 and their families. Early registration is advised as spaces are limited to 20 participants. No prior art experience is required. All materials and equipment are provided. SEE ALL EVENTS
